If you want historical photos with a gorgeous building as the backdrop, you have to try doing South Carolina Engagement Photos at The State House. I am always a sucker for a stunning building, and so were Nicole and Nick!

I met Nicole in high school as a freshman. We played soccer together on our high school team, but also outside of that on our travel team as well! Nicole and I were really good friends, but as life goes sometimes you lose touch. I knew she had been in the Carolina’s for awhile, but when she reached out about her wedding, and the engagement photos, I was shook. It is and will be my absolute honor to photograph their wedding day, and I am so happy with how their South Carolina Engagement Photos at The State House came out!

Why a historical building?

I love to use historical buildings as back drops for engagement photos because they create such amazing negative space within an image. This makes photos look so pleasing to the eye & creates so much symmetry! Using a building that was built in pre-modern times also gives such a classy look to the engagement photos. I highly recommend it if your vibe is a classic engagement shoot!
