Shelbie and Raider’s Denver Colorado wedding at Blanc was a summer STUNNER. I am so happy I traveled to photograph this wedding! Honestly, I LOVED working with these two babes – Shelbie is my perfect bride, she planned a picture perfect wedding but at the same time was the most laid back human being on the planet. She was so happy all day long and during cocktail hour while she was hanging out with her bridal party I heard her say “this is the best day of my lifeeee!!!”, and it was just so funny and cute!
S + R’s Wedding at Blanc Denver
Blanc is an amazing venue located right in Rino/Five Points area of Denver which just was redone in the last few years! It’s definitely a new bar scene but it is filled with cool breweries and restaurants. My husband and I even went out for a few drinks after we were done working. Blanc itself is a rustic/industrial building with white walls and brick throughout. The cocktail hour/ceremony space was my fav with the string lights overhead! It was a later day wedding but chill, laid back, and FUN. They had a food truck with made-to-order pizzas for dinner. Very casual but it was SO cool and made me wish I did food trucks for my wedding!
My Favorite Moments of the Day
Guys, the ceremony was probably one of my favorite moments of the day! I feel like it’s a rarity, but it was SO picture perfect/dreamy looking. It was short and sweet but still emotional. Their good friend from college married them (how cool!) and he made it lighthearted & fun. They also tied the knot with a shot ski just before the kiss, which I have never had anyone do and it was freaking amazing. They were both very fun loving and just wanted everyone to have a good time & they did for SURE. You can genuinely tell how much they love each other too, they both cried while reading their vows at the altar and while reading the letters they wrote for one another pre-first look.
Raider’s favorite song is “levels” by Avicci so I got creative and asked the DJ to tell everyone to form a tunnel so the bride and groom can dance through. When Levels started playing, the look on Raiders face was literally hysterical and everyone went NUTS, it got everyone super hyped up and ready to dance. I love creating moments throughout the day that stay true to who they are!
