Let’s be real, there are a lot of beautiful wedding venues out there. But every once in a while, you walk onto a property and something just feels right, especially when exploring wedding venues.
That’s what Wildflower Farms does to you.
I’ve stayed at Wildflower Farms multiple times now, and I can tell you firsthand this place isn’t just a venue, it’s an entire experience. From the moment you pull up and the Auberge concierge greets you, to the last bite of their insanely good farm-fresh food, it has this way of making you feel like the most important person in the Hudson Valley. For couples planning a wedding weekend, that feeling is everything.

What Is Wildflower Farms?
Wildflower Farms opened in late 2022 as part of the Auberge Resorts Collection, sitting on 140 scenic acres in the Hudson Valley, New York. It’s located in Gardiner, NY, just 90 minutes from New York City, tucked into a landscape of meadows, orchards, and wildflower fields with the Shawangunk Ridge (The Gunks) as a backdrop that will make your wedding be the ultimate form of whimsical.
It’s the kind of place that feels effortlessly elevated.
The Experience, It’s the Best
I’ve stayed at a lot of beautiful properties and I don’t say this lightly: the Auberge concierge team at Wildflower Farms is one of the best services I have ever experienced.
The staff at Wildflower Farms showcases the pinnacle of hospitality, with attention to detail that ensures each wedding feels bespoke and intimate. From the initial planning stages to the last dance, their expertise shines, bringing the couple’s vision to life.
They’re not reactive, they’re anticipatory. Every time I’ve been there, they’ve made me feel more than cared for and have gone above and beyond. For your wedding weekend, that energy translates to a team that is working for you in a way that lets you actually be present. You won’t be chasing anyone down or wondering if things are handled because they’re already doing it.
The Venue Spaces
This is where it gets good. Wildflower Farms has multiple distinct spaces, so whether you’re envisioning an intimate dinner under the trees or a full celebration with all your people, there’s a setting for it.
Maplehouse + Maple Lane + Event Lawn
Maplehouse is a lofty barn with expansive space across the ground floor and mezzanine, anchored by a dual open kitchen that serves as a farm-integrated cooking school, with large doors designed to bring the outdoors in.
A wonderful spot for a welcome party as it sits in a tucked away corner of the property. This is also where most ceremonies are held as the tree lined pathway of Maple Lane is just behind the barn. With direct access to the Event Lawn and firepit, it provides a seamless transition between the moments of your celebration.
The Marigold Room and Porch
The Marigold Room and Porch is the most spacious venue for larger weddings, offering indoor pre-function space, a heated all-season porch, natural wood finishes, lofted ceilings, and full-height windows with picturesque views of the rolling wildflower fields and the distant Shawangunk Ridge.
The Green Room
A cozy, subterranean venue nestled below the restaurant, The Green Room is as versatile as it is memorable. This unique event space features custom farm tables for an intimate rehearsal dinner and also offers speakeasy-style lounge space, perfect for after-hours and late-night celebrating.
One word: afterparty goals.

Okay, We Need to Talk About the Food
Farm-to-table is a phrase that gets thrown around so much it’s almost lost its meaning. At Wildflower Farms, it’s not a marketing phrase. The food at Wildflower Farms is something I crave and dream about having.
The signature restaurant Clay serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, pairing seasonal vegetables grown from local farms and onsite in clay-rich soils with well-sourced proteins for a dining experience that celebrates the region’s bounty..
For your wedding, farm-driven, chef-crafted menus showcase the freshest ingredients, many grown steps from your celebration. Each dish is a tribute to the beauty and bounty of the Hudson Valley, designed to delight.
Your guests will definitely be talking about the food.
Where Your Guests Will Stay
This is one of the things that makes a Wildflower Farms wedding so special as your people don’t just attend your wedding, they get to live in it for a weekend.
65 bespoke cabins, cottages and suites are designed to blend seamlessly with nature, revealing a contemporary cabin aesthetic with wood-wrapped interiors, modern finishes and fresh-cut flowers. Wall-to-wall glass sliding doors allow in-bed vistas and open onto large private terraces with daybeds and outdoor dining tables.
Wood-clad ceilings, cozy window seats, fireplaces, private patios, and outdoor fire pits create spaces of calm, perfect for relaxation, and yet equally suited for moments of celebration.
The Extras That Make It a Full Weekend
A Wildflower Farms wedding is a whole experience for everyone you love. And the property gives you so much to work with.
Infuse your wedding weekend with unexpected, meaningful moments: share a farm-to-table cooking class with loved ones, start the day with yoga in the meadows, or wind down around a firepit.
The expansive surrounding grounds include orchards and a namesake farm, indoor and outdoor venues, an outdoor pool, and miles of hiking trails inviting exploration.
And for the self-care moments, Thistle, an Auberge Spa is on property, offering treatments that feel like a full reset. Morning-of bridal prep just got a major upgrade.
Getting To Your Wildflower Farms Wedding
Wildflower Farms is located in Gardiner, New York. For guests flying in, Stewart International Airport (SWF) is just a 30-minute drive away, and free valet parking is available onsite. From the city it’s an easy 90-minute drive. Far enough to feel like an escape, close enough that no one has a reason not to come.

Why It Photographs Beautifully
Wildflower Farms is a dream to shoot. The light in those meadows during golden hour is genuinely unreal. The textured interiors of the cabins and Maplehouse give you this warmth and depth that make every frame feel intentional. The wildflower fields and The Gunks in the background mean your portraits look like something out of a film. And because the property is spread across 140 acres, there’s always a new corner to discover.
Every time I’m there, I’m still finding new spots every visit.
