I had a last minute cancellation for some Charleston engagement photos, but Gabby and Sam pulled through for me. I met them halfway down the beach at Isle of Palms on a super cloudy and windy day. It made for some of my favorite photos ever. I highly recommend taking your engagement photos in Charleston!

Gabby and Sam moved out of South Carolina shortly after this shoot, so I was so happy to get them their last photos taken here. Being new to the area myself, I know how important it is to document a time in your life, and in an area you love. Getting photos done for yourself is so important!

While editing these photos I felt so creative. It was like I got out of a rut, and something in me made me edit over 200 of them for final delivery. Some of my favorites are the black and white edits, and the flashy ones we did at the end. Since I am so pleased with how they came out I had to make a blog post about it!!
